My conspiracy theory: Embarrassed by the truck accident, the airline says they will no longer transport monkeys (to get free publicity). The airline continues to transport monkeys and no one notices. If they do, the airline just replies, "What do we have to do with highway travel?" They look smart, and again, receive more free advertising.

This is why there should be no animal testing. Three monkeys, through no fault of their own, were euthanized because they were lose for a day. Do you do that to your dog if they get out of the yard?

assuming you're equating what you personally unilaterally designate as "intelligence" with not being a natural food item for omnivorous humans: pigs are some of the smartest animals in the animal kingdom. and the most delicious. mmmmmmmmm....bacon......drools..... (in homer simpson voice of course)

(though I suppose they do admittedly get their revenge on us with the later heart attacks and clogged arteries - well played, miss piggy!)

Baby monks are torn from their Mom’s teat for used in testing or to be sold as pets in Asia & Africa (same thing happens to chimpanzees, bobobo’s, other primates). Entire families of monks & primates are killed just for the babies or yearlings.

I’ve seen pictures of babies/yearlings cuddled& clinging together for comfort & security; & of baby monks trying to get milk from its dried up Mom while in a lab setting. Sad & heartbreaking, not only for them, but to our closest biological relatives

I totally disagree with animal testing. It is repugnant to torture an animal in the name of science.
In Richmond, Virginia they simply slapped the hand of an animal cruelty organization after the media reported that many dogs were mistreated and abused.
I commend anyone especially an airline that doesn’t want to be a part of this.
