The ceo Christoper Luxton for anz has said that the two last remaining Boeing 737-319's that are due to be retired 2015. Anz will continue with the Boeing family and has ordered 15 new Gen Boeing 737 Neo jets which will enter service staring in 2016. In the long run the airline is looking at fuel economy and with the new B789'S entering the fleet which replaced the big heavies the B744'S this will bring more innovation and better seating for passenger comfort. Perth airport management and Police are at odds is to why Perth International and domestic airports have raised alarms causing many flights to be cancelled or delayed several hours due to false alarms at both terminals. Air New Zealand has released data it says shows new regional rival Jetstar is failing to keep to its schedule. Less than a third of Jetstar's regional flights on one route were departing on time earlier this month, according to data disclosed by its rival Air New Zealand. An elderly couple who purchased cheap flights to get across the Tasman were hit with a fee seven times their original price after changing their flight dates. A man had died after preforming acrobatic maneuvers with hi Bi plane single engine aircraft in a air show in Austria. A live video has emerged of this pilot preforming in front of a huge crowd when suddenly his engine malfunctioned causing it to stall. Sydney Airport topped 41 million passengers in calendar 2016, led by growth in international travellers. The airport handled 41.87 million passengers in the 12 months to December 31 2016, up 5.6 per cent from 39.656 million in the prior year.
