VIDEO: Piper Meridian Crashes into TV Antenna Guy Wires

On February 4, 2015, at 1930 central standard time, a Piper Meridian airplane, N301D, collided with a television tower guy wire and terrain about 7 miles south of the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport (LBB), Lubbock, Texas. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, was fatally injured and the airplane was destroyed. about every 3-4 years a plane, trying to sneak in under the fog, will hit the guy wires holding up the big TV towers just south of Sacramento...

I sold a bunch of slides a few years ago...think it was included... most were from 1970s...did pretty well
