U.S. Condemns China Over Letter to Airlines
The United States government has condemned a letter from the Chinese government. The letter was sent last week to 36 airlines around the world, including American carriers, such as American Airlines and United Airlines. The letter called for the airlines to stop referring Hong Kong, Macau, and most importantly Taiwan as separate countries from China. The airlines China sent the letter to refer to the countries as separate on their websites, route maps, and marketing material. (airlinegeeks.com) और अधिक...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I can't help but wonder why they all have different flags? England and Portugal have returned Hong Kong and Macau to China, but as SAR's and Taiwan has never been part of the PRC. The party has bullied most of the world into recognizing only one China. While they refer to Formosa as a renegade province it is laughable to think they have any control of the island. For 70 years Taiwan has been independent of the PRC. It is also just as silly that the KMT in Taiwan thinks they will return to power on the mainland.
It is no different than those living in the USA that think the South will rise again.

LOL. Seen TX. economic numbers lately? Not only are major parts of the south rising again, disgustingly, "The North" is moving here as fast as they can.
Seeing a lot of Texas license plates here in CA, not as many as before the 2008 crash, however.
How about if the airlines just change their websites so that destinations aren't listed with countries? People only search for cities anyway, so the irony is that almost no one notices whatever the offending listing is.
