The jet had been flying from Paris to Cairo, with the Egyptian authorities claiming terrorism had been responsible for the incident which happened in May 2016 – but experts believe smoking led to a fire which caused the fatal crash. Sounds more like CYA by the airline as to put enough oxygen into an area which has ventilation I think they are very wrong due to air exchange in the cockpit. If there had not been enough the smoke from cigarettes would have been overwhelming. Yes just a coverup for poor third world pilots.
