It is difficult for me to understand how someone can wind up on an airplane this drunk. If he were drunk before the flight, security should have stopped him from boarding. If he were sober when he boarded and then became drunk as a result being served too much alcohol, then the flight crew should be questioned.

I understand it is not possible to open the door while the cabin is pressurized.

Were it not for endangering the other passengers and the aircraft, the cabin crew should have let him open the door then pushed the S.O.B. out!
