"A mismatch between active automation modes and pilot expectation is currently considered as a working theory."
This statement is intriguing to me as it can be interpreted several ways. Taken at face value, I would take it to mean that they just thought something didn't feel right for whatever reason, and there was no apparent panic as they made a safe landing. The story did not say guages went to 0 or to even. It just said they were reported as failed.
