1. Delta has no A380s.
2. The incident happened in Amsterdam, not Detroit.
3. This has been posted at least twice before.
4. It really wasn't that big of an issue; the pilot flying will likely get a slap on the wrist and continue flying.
Summary.
Get your facts straight, and check to see if it has been posted before, especially if it is a minor incident.
Have a great day.

the thing about runway thresholds, especially in the Netherlands, they are smooth, solid land, capable of taking the weight of a short landing airliner. THe Dutch are master builders, so there was little damage to the runway and all the passengers were alive when the plane taxied to the terminal.
No harm, no foul
No harm, no foul
Threshold is different than an over run as the latter is ment to stop an aircraft which has over run a runway by crumbling due to the load of the aircraft. The threshold is the start of a runway.
And thanks for playing the dumbest already posted best fail today on here TROLL go back to work.
Blatantly wrong headline. It was a 330 in Amsterdam.
