The beautiful Sud Caravelle...pioneer of the ventral airstair door in a jet(but the Martin 404 piston had preceded her). Unusual four wheel bogie main gear in this weight class. One was lost due to retracting the gear with overheated brakes resulting in an uncontrollable fire...
Yeah, I read about that, the brakes were apparently partially stuck on. Inside the confined space of the wheel well they caught fire.
