A rare close-up of USAF Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II, 11-5040, cn AF-51, from the 56th Fighter Wing, 61st Fighter Squadron, Luke AFB (KLUF), AZ- USA on the Atlantic Aviation ramp at KCLE. I had an opportunity to photograph the aircraft with the forward hinged canopy open as it was being prepped for the performance at the Cleveland National Air Show at KBKL, about 12 miles northeast of KCLE, on 3 Sept 2016.
