Socata TBM-700 (N111RF)

Per Cirium: On Oct. 13, this 2003 Socata TBM 700 was destroyed by impact and post-impact fire when it crashed shortly after take-off from New Bedford Regional Airport, New Bedford, Massachusetts, onto the median of I-195 near Reed Road in Dartmouth, about 7 km southwest of the airfield. ADS-B data and witness reports indicated that the aircraft 'climbed weakly' after take-off before 'descending rapidly.' 2 Occupants of the aircraft were killed; a passing motorist was also reported to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries when her vehicle was struck by debris. The accident happened in daylight (about 0813L) and in reported heavy rain, with winds between 30 and 40 mph and reduced visibility, under conditions influenced by a nor’easter (northeasterly winds). The aircraft was operating a flight to Kenosha Regional Airport, Kenosha, Wisconsin.
