Boeing 727-100 (JA8314) - This photo is a Post Card from the early 1970s. I did not photograph this image!br /br /Shown here is a Japan Air lines Boeing 727 being serviced at Toyko Int'l Airport.br /Note that there are no Jetways/Gangways in the scene and only mobile stairs that roll up to the aircraft hatch entry door. The name Tenryu appears under the cockpit window. Wikipedia shows a Genichird Tenryu, a Japanese Professional Wrestler that perhaps they are honoring. I recall using Eastern, National and TWA Aircraft back then. The Boeing 727 help replace the infamous 707 Model in this time period.

Love those 727-100's! Reminds me, I have to upload a number of vintage shots of old 737's, CV-580 etc. for those of us who like them. Thanks for sharing!
