Photo depicts the third Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18 Hornet (A21-35) of a five jet package from 3 Sqdn taxing to the runway for an afternoon training sortie at RAAF Williamstown. The RAAF utilizes the Hornet as its primary fighter aircraft; this aircraft is equipped with (at least) one LAU-7/ A-7 air-to-air missile (left wingtip weapons station; roughly comparable to the US AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missile) as well as the 20mm M61 Vulcan Cannon mounted in the aircrafts nose. I shot the photo with my "Kodak V1233 Zoom Digital Camera" at 2:38:21 PM Local Time on 24 July 2008 using 1/125 sec exposure time, and the photo is cropped to an (approximate) 2959 x 1972 pixel value.
