It was a pleasure to be on one of those, my wife and I flew from Dubai to Mauritius last summer.
It may be $35 a gallon, but when compared to the cost of losing the plane?...cheap.
I wonder if technology will ever allow those heating filaments in wings like the ones we have on our auto rear windows that keep the windows ice-free.
