Am I getting old if I actually know to what/whom you are referring?
Having only a b&w tv, it was many years before I learned that the Songbird had a red nose.
A classic design built for anything. Fabulously versatile. top the mains (tip tanks) and you had three hours to get somewhere but you could carry just about anything in it and fast 220kts true at 12,000. Fill the mains, wing aux tanks plus the locker tanks you could put 1000 miles under her. Deiced and you could have radar too, but no cargo door and no pressurization was limiting sometimes.
