I did'nt know they ever flew any thing but f-16.

Alex K. the Thunderbirds have been flying since 1953 flying the F-84G Thunderjets, in 1954 they had F-84F Thunderstreaks, in 1956 the F-100 Super Sabres and in 1964 the F-105 Thunderchiefs and in late 1964 back to the F-100s Super Sabres and in 1969 the F4 Phanthom II, 1974 brought out the T-38 Talons and only in 1982 did they start to fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
