In my front yard, in North Charlotte, on the flight path climbing out of KCLT. 3 minutes flying time from lift off. Approx 9700 feet up already. Using Canon EOS 1D MK IV with a ESM 500mm lens. ISO 250 at 1/1250 F4

Did not see the moon until I was panning over it, as the aircraft came up from my right almost overhead. The Heathrow flight that followed was way further south but in shooting range. Will post in a few.
