Boeing 747-200 (N626US) - KLAX - Jan 1999 shows an odd photo location - shown to me by San Jose based friends and jet photogs Mike and Mark Durbin...This is taken from an overpass atop Sepulveda Blvd at LAX, Though there was a legal sidewalk here it was not your normal photog gather spot for side shots. The view is a Northwest 747-200 rolling onto 24L at Los Angeles to depart west. A few poles here made it difficult but the view to the right was actually very good. I have a VASP MD-11 from here I'll post later in my continuing series of 'toasted' negatives photos...

Sometimes ya just can't dodge the damn poles to get THE shot.

LOL good one. I bet if those light poles weren't there, this would have been an active filming location and might have been posted no standing as too many people here would have been a distraction throughout the day....it's atop a bridge and the roadway is right behind me.
