I'm surprised DB and Lufthansa didn't do this. When I lived in Germany and flew out I would leave my car at work, bag drag to the Bahnhof and train it to FRA and hop a United flight back home on leave. I won't lie, I got my tickets through SATO I wasn't spending a fortune.
