Air France and SNCF to operate an additional 7 “Train + Air” services
For over 25 years, Air France and SNCF French Railways have been offering their customers a service allowing them to combine train and air travel in the same reservation. I'm surprised DB and Lufthansa didn't do this. When I lived in Germany and flew out I would leave my car at work, bag drag to the Bahnhof and train it to FRA and hop a United flight back home on leave. I won't lie, I got my tickets through SATO I wasn't spending a fortune.
