This lovely lady, and every woman who joined her are nothing less than true heros. Without their assistance, dedication, patriotism and professionalism our air war effort would have been in BIG trouble. Thankfully President's Carter and Obama were educated enough to bring the selfless accomplishments of these pilots to the public light, and see that they got their due. What the other presidents were thinking we will never (gratefully) know. For them to omit these women from the politcal and social history of this great country is a shame. I'm sad that the ladies you have passed away were not given the public accolade that they deserved. I'd like to see more done for the remaining ladies...like VA benefits, etc. Nothing less than the benefits handed to the pilots they delivered planes to. I thank each and every one!
