Trying to verify stand-down lifted. No luck, so far.
A report on Yahoo Airtankers group reported yesterday:

"McClellan Reload Base was opened this afternoon at around 17:15 local for
use on the Applegate Incident in Placer County CA. I caught Tankers #07,
#160, and #911 as they reloaded for the fire.

All of CalFire's S-2s are on standdown because of the crash. Feds have diverted up to 13 tankers to cover. Bad time to lose the fleet.

It was one of CalFire's S-2 birds.
Condolences to the family.
