Drive your car on an airport runway at this secret spot in Japan
Not a lot of people can say they’ve driven their car on an airport runway before, but did you know there’s a place where you can legally do that in Japan? About 40% of the former airbase runway at KCMA is used by various organizations testing and racing cars. Rest of the runway remains active during those events.
The airport is closed to GA aircraft. If you look at it on Google Earth you see it being used by large-scale model aircraft enthusiasts.
