United Airlines flew the first doses of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine last week, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday. The Pfizer vaccine is uniquely difficult to transport as it has strict below-freezing temperature requirements that require the use of dry ice, a dangerous good to transport in the aviation industry. tl;dr: It was a charter flight so they got a waiver to carry more dry ice than usual.
