If you look on any website - the first letters - https indicates a secure link.
The problem in this last two decades is everyone wants a discount. The internet has screwed the legit travel agencies out of commission and jobs. If they had gone to AAA or CAA (in Canada) office in the first place, this would not have been a problem - no money would have been lost.
