FDX1214 B722/W - KLFT to KMEM diverted to...KLFT?

This was an odd occurrence...update says it diverted...back to LFT? Sure enough, here she came back. I heard it passing over on downwind and looked out...nothing appeared unusual. Warning light? Engine took a dump? Something on the MEL broke or quit working? I'm just curious. Anybody out there know what it could be? Any info pass it along!
