Don't think so as look what is below it nothing seems to ever move faster than normal. Crew on the B1 was a little rough as it had too fast a closing speed.

Another attention grabbing headline over a loop of the most 'exciting' part of some in flight event. Having a few 'exciting' half seconds in refuel attempts is common, that is why only the best aircrews in the world do it. The hige majority of in flight refueling world wide is via 'probe and drogue' which while still challenging is less 'exciting'.

The difference between applying movement or pressure. Just like an ILS doesn't require sword fighting on the controls neither should that. But I don't really know what I'm talking about since I've never done that.
