Well at leat they have not lost another big jet as they did with SQ006 that lovely painted B744 on the runway. SIA have a excellent reputation for many years of service

Thank goodness there wasn't anyone working near the nose gear at the time.

I think the Mechanic may have done something in that check out of order or over looked something!
