If you've been there, you know the smiles on the athletes faces when they're competing. Imagine getting into a business jet and flying to the games. Try to wipe THAT smile away. Good work Citation owners.

The Citation Owners group are an incredible collection of folks. And, as far as I know, they all do this at there own expense. My daughter participated in the Special Olympics World Games in New Haven, CT many years ago, but she and her teammates were flown from Bloomington, IL to New Haven on a 550. It was her first time in the air, but she loved every minute of it. I was already in New Haven when her flight landed, along with a number of others, and it took the rest of the week to get the grin off her face. Bravo Zulu!

One of the coolest things ever! Flying in one of these is the coolest experience anybody can have.

Imagine all those greedy fat-cats that own those priveate jets doing something so nice (tongue in cheek). I emailed a link to this page and the tracking page to my congressman and Senators in Washington (DeMint and Graham) so that maybe they'll remember this the next time those fat-cats are called to Washington to be reamed out for all the greed and excess of big business. I hate to turn this political, but this is exactly the kind of thing you won't see in mainstream news media coverage.
Good job Citation owners! Good job!

great story, and a big plus for all these Citation Owners ,who donated their aircraft and time to bring these wonderful people to Lincoln for the 'Special Olympics.' The smiles on their faces were were something to behold, I watched them as they arrived, and to see the happiness brought a tear to many an eye.

Well from my 35+ yrs of air traffic control work I've known that the Citation Owners are an elite group who have fantastic hearts... Being a brother of a special needs sister, who didn't have this type of adventure that the Special Olympic's offered, Know that she would have had a permanent smile with this type of opportunity... My hat is off to team work of both Cessna Citation Owners and Special Olympic participants/staff... Ya'll do fantastic work...

Brian - you have hit the nail on the head... Thanks for your observations & insight...
