lucky with those ageing MD83'S it got back safely on the ground. I here a replacement aircraft continued with the flight 2hrs and 20 mins late

They are flying from what I have seen old AC so nothing would surprise me and no I would not fly due to the age of there AC. Previous history on them might raise eyebrows am sure the mechanics do good jobs but are kept in check by the upper management.
