Pilot survives single-engine plane crash near Huntington Lake, CA
The wreckage of a single-engine airplane was found late Thursday morning near Huntington Lake in the Sierra National Forest. The pilot -- the only person aboard the plane -- survived the crash. The pilot radioed Fresno air traffic control around 10 a.m. to say he had low oil pressure and was going down in the Sierra about 35 miles north-northeast of Fresno-Yosemite International Airport. The article has been updated to include pictures of the plane where it crashed. Pilot was very lucky.
