United flight diverted to Cuba due to 'unfamiliar' odor in plane
(CNN) -- A United Airlines flight was diverted to Cuba on Sunday after its crew reported a strong odor in the plane, U.S. aviation and airline spokesmen said. Well that stinks! Wonder what they were smelling? Curry? Cumin? I actually flew that same flight last year IAD-CUN.. I know I had my fair share of smells lol
Maybe they found all that missing crude from the gulf oil spill.
KEYW seems as close as MUHA when they started descending. Anyway ACA (star alliance) flies MUHA so they can ferry them out easily enough.
