Hopefully they get him housed in a shelter until they're big enough to be released into the wild

Yeah... But there is no substitute for your Mom.. I am sure wild life experts will certainly do their best, but mother nature does it beter.

Now I appreciate why a few years ago the pilots of regional airline Provincial airlines flew our SAAB On a shirt tour to inspect the runway for caribou before landing , at Churchill Falls. (ZUM ) . Glad in the Alaskan case no passengers and crew were injured .

I have a feeling that this will happen more often in the future. I was amazed to see a bear that had been hit by a vehicle on I-85 in South Carolina. With more encroachment of people in their habitat, wildlife are bound to enter areas that one might not normally see them.

Hard to see bears in the dark, at 180kts. Bears can't read "No Trespassing" signs. Actually surprised this doesn't happen more often in Alaska.

Mama bears teach their cubs where to eat and hunt. Too bad this one won't be able to teach her cub where not to walk.
