Couldn't they make or program the scanners to display only a hidden foreign object rather than showing a flesh and blood body image ?

Mark my words folks, in the next few years or maybe even the next decade or so, once the damage is done and it's too late, they will discover that these types of X-ray scanners have very severe health side effects. Just imagine how the terrorist will be laughing in their caves when we have caused the useless deaths of thousands of our own citizens by over exposure to radiation based searches. And the cave dwellers didn't even set off one bomb. HMMMMMMMM..... I hope I am wrong, but I bet I'm not too far off. (no long term studies have ever been done)
