Obama To Congress: Allow China To Buy C-130

प्रस्तुत

I hereby report to the Congress that it is in the national interest of the United States to terminate the suspensions under section 902(a)(3) of the Act with respect to the issuance of temporary munitions export licenses for exports to the People's Republic of China insofar as such restrictions pertain to the C-130 cargo aircraft to be used in oil spill response operations at sea. Why don't we just hand over our Air Force to them while we're at it.

Precisely Mike! The letter says they will be used just for oil spill cleanup. So it's okay, we can trust the Chinese to just use them for that & not reverse engineer the hell out of one of the US military's work horses. LOL!

Gee why stop there. Let's give them a few C-5s so that they can feed the Hungry folks in China. Better yet give them a few unused H-Bombs so they can defend themselves from North Korea. Give me a break what a joke.

Jeez, c'mon guys. Think this through first. OK so it's cool to bash Obama (most of us in aviation-circles hang to the Right, I suppose, so it's a knee-jerk to knock him on everything.) Assuming so, would you bash Obama for the deficit we're in? You probably would (even it if it wasn't his doing.) So, here's the guy trying to do something about the deficit. Do you shop at Chinatown to buy your undies and everything else? Of course you do (Walmart and all our other beloved retailers..) You probably know then, that you are contributing to the HUGE national debt we owe to China. Basically they own our asses and they have become our national "bankers." So what's that got to do with C-130's? Kinda obvious isn't it? China can buy Antonovs, Illyushins, EADS (Airbus 400M), Transall, all that compete directly with the C-130 anytime they want. In fact they have enough money to buy anything on this planet, if it's for sale! But they want to buy the good ole Herc--which is age-old technology. So, let China have them. What's to lose? They ought to buying all kinds of heavy iron from us. Caterpillars, Boeings, Frieghtliners.. The Chinese are indeed good at reverse engineering, so even if they can't get Raptors and JSF's from us, do you really think they can't come up with Sukhois, or reverse-engineer them? Hell, they're sending rockets to the moon, if you hadn't heard. They have industrial spies in all branches of industry and defense. Do you really think they couldn't reverse-engineer just about anything if they really wanted to? So what exactly IS the problem with selling them yesterday's-technology C-130's..? Obama?

All sounds good, however that is the attitude that has made us a nation that has sent all our technology over seas, and all our jobs.

Whenever the right brings up the deficit, the left doesn't want to hear it. When the left brings up the deficit, it's to show it's someone elses fault. No one had said Obama is to blame except for your own assumption. I personally think we should NOT sell them the planes, but we should sell them our assistance to help clean it up. We will send our crews trained in the c130s to help them and then come back home. If they can make something better, they can go ahead and do so.

Idiocy at it's best in the White House. We should sell them our services, not our planes and technology. If they are so good at reverse engineering etc, let them make their own damn planes...

Whatever the case may be, it's not going to happen over-night. Something else is brewing here we know nothing about, which our government is notorious for not telling the whole story behind this. Let's see what Congress and the Senate have to say about not just the C-130's but other planes as well.

NIXON gave The Chinese the DC-9 to build over 30 years ago. Have y'all forgotten?
Every President and the United States Legislative bodies since the beginning has given some technology to some country other than our percieved "friends" at the time who later turned enemy on US, and to other countries who have remained friends with US since whenever. WHAT's NEW?
AND , we've recieced technology from other countries that has benefitted the US since that same beginning. WHAT's NEW? HISTORY! Be FAMILIAR with it.
