Late abort? incorrect abort procedure? Both? Sure was windy. Glad only metal was broken.

While i was watching this takeoff, i couldnt tell if it was a late abort or what. I do know he should have used 27 here at YIP. The wind was for sure favoring 27. Though the weather system was out and he could only rely on Ann Arbor AWOS as well as DTW reports.

Yesterday's incident occurred at Willow Run (KYIP). The team made alternate plans and flew from KDTW to KIAD this morning — possibly this flight: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL8945/history/20170309/1240Z/KDTW/KIAD
