Something was definitely wrong with RR! For sure they knew ANA would use their B787 for short range, multiple landings/TO, as they do with all the fleet! I suspect of very bad quality control, and the tremendous mentality of laxism and impunity that that has invaded the British society in the past years! RR sales were based a lot on the prestige of a brand! Where will it be now?

Some of these foreign airlines blindly choose RR over the competition. Hope this opens their eyes to the competitors engines.
