New Greenland Airport To Open On November 28, 2024

Greenland plans to open its new international airport in Nuuk by the end of next year, with a partial opening in May 2024 before a full launch in November. The airport, built by Kalaallit Airports, will have a 2,200-meter runway capable of handling larger widebody aircraft. Greenland hopes that the new airport will be a game-changer for tourism in the country, with the potential for significant growth in international connections and destinations.
