Amazing story, they departed Sydney on March 13, 1951 made eight stops then arrived in Chile on March 26, 1951 in PBY Catalina. They returned to Sydney arriving on April 21 '51. The airways mag article has a link to the Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences with more details of the flight.
