wasnt the TSA suppose to solve the problem of lazy security people at the airport??? sounds like nothing has changed in the world of airport security, EXCEPT they now get to grope you and feel you up, as you try to get to the gate to get on your flight. :)

I would be curious to know the comparison of federal investigations between airport-related terrorists and the TSA. I bet there have been more incidents by TSA. They are completely incompetent and a waste of hard-working tax dollars. We don't need them.

I think the heightened awareness of the traveling public is enough security. What was done on 9/11 will not be repeated. Instilling fear of the potential in everyone is enough of a victory to terrorists.

Michael, you're assumption is right! More people die a year from lightning strikes than terrorist attacks on airplanes (in the USA). Why stop at defending/dismantling the TSA? Why not get rid of the department of homeland security and stop spending billions of dollars getting no where in the middle east?

These are the people who want to be able to unionize and the President is willing to let that happen. Frightening!

Bill, they already have limited collective bargaining rights.

Whats wrong with telling passengers to pay attention to people sitting next to them and around them for suspicious conduct. If some one is a terrorist who better is able to handle it than people sitting around you?
The policy of "let the flight crew handle it" is what got the people killed on 9/11.

yea letting a passenger walk on board with a gun to protect themselves from "terrorists".....even better idea. This is a great site for ideas! How about we...oh I don't know think about 50,000 people or bags to the maybe 20-30 TSA agents. Sounds lopsided to me, but hey I'm not the Gov't agency getting kicked around in the media at budget time...

Private security needs to replace the TSA. Another big government failure.
Ya gotta remember folks, the TSA is nothing more than the dregs that were employed there before the TSA was "commissioned". Now we're paying for their government benefits that they don't deserve. Hopefully this ineptness will end soon. [How 'bout them "Cheeseheads" ? I am so glad to see people standing up for their constitution. Those cowardly Democrats should all be relieved of their posts, and take away their benefits post haste.]

I doubt it, Matt. If'n they are recalled, you buy me a beer in Ladysmith sometime.

Ha deal. The strong arming no negotiating tactics have helped walkers poll numbers hit a new low of 30% approval.
