I realize it is the perspective of the field of view, of the camera, but it appears that he flies the largest C-172 in the world.
What a great story! My father wanted to be a pilot, but he maintained his "plant manager" status to feed his family. Nevertheless, somewhere in his 30's he did realize that dream to a degree. He got his pilot's license. I can still remember how thrilled he was after passing the final round of his test...flying solo with three takeoffs and touchdowns! He was also a pro at getting out of a stall, which he practiced on a regular basis.
