Will be interesting to see what they come up with. I know FED-EX is supporting this project as well. I hope that they find something, but I am little optimistic about it as well.

Oh yes and this same outfit has been trying for years but just about when they run out of money they find a clue. Wait and see what happens as they have failed every time for years.

No just get tired of those who repost old news and stuff thats not needed in this forum. Its turned into a bunch that posts that are not true airplane people but want to be on something. This is a bunch of old news anyway untill they find something its not worth posting as this group has been at it for years and has been bilking people out of money for the same time. They show up every few years with a new wrinkle and as I remember its been going on for about 20 years. And by the way am not spamming like you said jsut posting a fact little boy wanna be.

Amelia Earhart Discovery? Evidence of Downed Plane Discovered in the Pacific

Some 75 years after Amelia Earhart’s plane disappeared, a new discovery on the bottom of the ocean points to where the aviator may have crashed — and died.

A debris field videotaped in the waters off Nikumaroro Island could include remnants of the aviator’s plane — the latest batch of evidence in what has been an ongoing search for clues

Amelia Earhart expedition team says video possibly shows plane debris

A team of researchers trying to solve the mystery of aviator Amelia Earhart's 1937 disappearance said on Friday that underwater video from a Pacific island has revealed a field of man-made debris that could be remnants of her plane.
The footage was collected in July by The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery (TIGHAR) during a $2.2 million expedition to Nikumaroro in the Republic of Kiribati.
