In the case of trains and buses, wouldn’t the lessons learned in Afganistan and Iraq come into consideration? The bad guys don’t have to physically carry devices, onto theses modes of transport, to envoke their nefarious acts. Are patdowns at toll booths next? Is anyone familiar with the term ‘slowly boiling a frog’?

I didn't realize people were unaware that law enforcement agencies and the federal government were in an all out cash grab. People are always surprised that they focus on "money smuggling." I'm not sure that people are aware of the fact that tons of "law enforcement" programs these days are directly, and primarily, funded from drug seizures (i.e. money and property the agency 'confiscated'). Things like cars and airplanes that were loaded with drugs are seized and sold for cash, but they seem to prefer just taking money to begin with.

As for the rest of it, I'm not surprised. This will only get worse until the money stops.
