They remind me of the famous Beechcraft B-18 (if my memory does not fail me).
Tomer with a good imagination yes: THe BE18 is a Tail wheel a/c, with two radial 450cv and the Famand MD312 has two Inversed V motors of 588cv, and tricycle gear..(used for navigators and bombers ,and transport pilots training. in sixties and more. Constructed by Dassault (same that the MIrage and Falcon Family).. the only thing is they have double tail..both.
Serge, a number of D-18s were modified from tail wheel to tri-cycle gear, P&W PT-6 turboprops fitted instead of the P6W R-985 recip enines, and to add insult to injury some had their noses extended by 8-9 ft. all of which were awful looking things. Give me the real McCoy or forget it.
Tks CHALET; I knew about the tri-cycle modification , (I did flew on it) but I didn't know about nose extension. I have to improve my culture (lol)
Beech 18 was what I was first reminded of.
