Howdy to all five of you. (Wave)
Had to cross my fingers while snapping this one. No clouds at all (sun high overhead and very intense) and temp on the runways was well above the 100 degree air temperature so the heat waves were h-llacious. Every pic I took of it on the ground was heatwave-distorted, but I was in an elevated location and close enough that when it went airborne I could click some distortion-free photos. TY for your comments, guys.

Can't wait to see it in SWA livery.

Great shot in spite of being out shooting in less than desirable conditions. TYVM Gary for sharing the details- I am learning to be a better photographer from reading your posts. 5*+++++

John and Dave ... Hi, John. Thanx. Perhaps we will see each other on the 9th at the TRK air fest.
And howdy, Dave. Tks to you, too. Much appreciated. Be careful this weekend back there in Beantown. I lived in Mass for several years and so I know that you New Englanders sure do know how to celebrate the country's birthday (grin). Have a super weekend, and I'll see you again next Tuesday. ;-)

I wounder if this could be the 100 year 738, Boeing just painted for SWA?
iFlyGr8
Jim, this is MAX 3. It's still a Boeing test bed for now. WN just delayed delivery of their MAXs, so it may not be for southwest. Boeing may just keep it for a test bed like LN4 787. It's just the normal test paint from Boeing.

The 100 year aircraft is a 739, a NG, not a MAX.

If you look on my profile, I have a picture of N248AK, the Alaska Boeing 100 year paint.

U lucky!............! Send this over to Redding we have 100+ days - !!!
5 Aliens!

Outstanding catch and capture, Gary! If you watch my YouTube channel, you will know the first 738MAX to be commercially produced that wasn't a demonstrator is soon to be delivered to Southwest.
