Is that some kind of magnetic sensor on the tail? This used for geo/mining/drilling surveys?
Presently in the Canaries.
Did you notice the Canadian flag? How come?
They could have painted the flag of Russia or South Africa on the plane.

A huge part of the "Aura" of a DC3, C47, Dakota etc. etc. is the sound of those two P&W's. I sorta fear that just might be absent on this old girl.
