Boeing 737-200 (N20SW) - KOAK_ I rarely post KMart, but this negative just found Aug 2021, and taken back in late 1980s at a rainy Oakland Intl - , I looked up the data on this and I see 2 different entries, so I will not post the LN. This jet had just arrived at Oakland in this photo and headed to the gate. I do not know where this jet flew in from. The engine looks out of place with the bright bare metal. This may be one of the first 3 737s Southwest started jet-airlineservice with.

Kmart?
It's not; it's the second N20SW that they owned.

1st 3 SW 737-200 jets were N20SW, N21SW and N22SW tail numbers

Their first plane, N20SW was built for Pacific Southwest Airways (PSA), who had to turn down acceptance of the plane because of financial trouble at the time.

This plane was delivered in 1977 and has been scrapped. SW had ad "Pajama Party for the last flight of their 737-200s and I missed that flight by one day.

Thanks Frank I never saw that Ad!

The polished aluminum nacelles were pretty "standard" in the early 737 introductions. I got the impression Boeing encouraged it. My outsider assumptions were either the Boeing paint shop had issues with the confined area between wing and ground, or they just wanted the engines to stand out so folks would think, "Aww, how cute a baby 707!". ;} joking aside I do not recall a 737 with painted 737 engine nacelles until well into the 400 series.

One of these old Southwest 737-200's was turned into a restaurant back in 2005, called the "Parachute Inn". Located in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. The restaurant is no longer open but the aircraft remains on site.
