N808AX — - KSJC - the early days of freighter action at San Jose was ABX DC-9s, eventually Fed Ex DC-10s and Burlington Air Express DC-8s and various 727s...but SJC had plenty of DC-8s arriving and departing over the years until phased out and 767s where brought in and other freight types. This photo from the early 1990s atop the then new Terminal A parking structure is an Airborne Express DC-8-62 slowing for the cargo intersection. I also filmed 30+ years at SJC on Hi-8mm and older VHS and have posted many video on my YT page under my screen name MarsAveSo...with plenty more pending uploads in the near future.

Hey, Alien, it occurs to me to wonder if there are any DC-8s on display at aircraft museums? Wouldn't it be outa-sight to go to a museum and be able to go into an old Super 61? I'd dang sure pay for the privilege. TY very much for posting this ***** memory jogger.
