According to Wiki they have two of these Series 2A aircraft in service. Also five ATR-42s and five 737s.

I flew on a Channel Airways Avro 748 one Sunday evening in Sep 1968 from East Midlands to Paris Le Bourget, with a 10 minute stop at Southend. There is a history of Channel Airways available on the web, but it does not mention this particular route. Channel did operate a bus stop type route within the UK in the 1960s.

The HS-748 probably had a longer active life in Canada than most parts of the world. Perfect ruggedness and flexibility (cargo and pax) for tough environs. Flew it multiple times in Northern Ontario. Anyone who has flown in one will not soon forget the high pitch scream of the RR Darts! Good times.

I flew in an Merparti owned 748 from Bali to Darwin Australia in 1974
