Very very nice aircraft! They are so fun to fly!

This 1959 180 spent most of its life in Canada as C-FPSA. Unfortunately the last Canadian owner let it deteriorate and it was finally sold (rescued) by an American in the state of Maine. Several owners spent considerable money to bring it to the condition in the picture. Unfortunately the recently installed factory reman engine failed in flight and in the attempt to force land on a bush road, collided with a tree. The two occupants reportedly walked away but the 180 was a write off. Sad ending to a really great performing 180.
