Cargo only flight HKG-SYD-ADL-HKG was then parked at the international terminal Gate 18 rather than on a cargo bay. I’d seen a couple of SIA supposedly cargo only flights also parked at the terminal before, but to the best of my knowledge, no passengers were carried either into, or out of Adelaide. Maybe it’s just easier for the crew, especially with the winter weather we are currently experiencing.

Gavin when BA flew there cargo flights into DFW the always parked at the passenger terminal as well. A friend of mine that works for AA cargo says that there was just not enough room on the cargo ramp for all the extra cargo only flights.

Thanks Robin. USUALLY, stress usually, these and SIA's cargo flights got parked at Gate 28 which is past the SW end of the terminal and is open. That was until the weather started to get a bit more wintry, therefore my speculation about crew comfort. Unfortunately for the enthusiasts, we don't have an issue with too many planes at one time.

Gavin, If you want I will trade you your winter weather for N. TX sweatbox weather for a few months. :-D
